D’DIFFERENCE and D’DIFFERENCE FOR MEN cosmetics is founded by Dr. Ruth Oltjer, who years ago, in cooperation with doctors, biochemists and scientists, started to search for solutions for treatment of burns and bedsores. The results were amazingly effective and acquired knowledge and experiences were applied to skincare and cosmetics.

Dr. Ruth Oltjer’s ultimate goal was to develop skincare products, which are based on natural ingredients, feel and look luxurious and are effective as well as safe to health and environment. Dr. Oltjer’s vision is to become one of the most innovative and responsible cosmetic manufacturers in the Nordic countries.

Every day, the Research and Development (R&D) team of D’DIFFERENCE and D’DIFFERENCE FOR MEN, is working hard and with full devotion to  make our passion desirable for you!  Very often the key is choosing the best ingredient and finding the best processing method. Sounds simple? Well, it isn`t and we love it!

Each ingredient is thoroughly studied and tested and the choice is done based on three aspects – first, it should be as natural as possible and secondly, it should have the most effective properties for skin. Innovative too. The last but not least…safety. That is why we are using synthetic preservatives. They have proved their efficacy and this is important, because we care. The “world of skincare” is on the path of figuring out the natural substitutes, but it is complicated. A lot look good on paper but do not work, some smell funny, some look peculiar. We are on our toes, looking, waiting, watching, but as long as the best alternative is not available, we continue with research, not action.

Methods of processing meet the highest standards of manufacturing (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and enable ingredients to keep the majority of their valuable properties.
